Is there any downtime?
There is no downtime or special care required once you leave the clinic, you can carry on with the rest of your day’s activities immediately following treatment. There may be temporary redness in the skin for about 20-30 minutes that quickly subsides.
Is Exilis Elite safe?
Yes, Exilis is an FDA cleared device for the skin tightening. There are controls built in to the device to ensure that it does not overheat the skin.
What else should I know about an Exilis Elite Treatment?
It is important that you are very well hydrated before , during and after your Exilis Elite treatment to achieve maximum results. It is also recommended that you partake in some sort of light exercise for 30-40 minutes following treatment in order to maximize results if the body is being treated for fat removal. Logique has also installed a Lymphastim System which assists with removal of interstinal fluid from tissues. Most clinics overseas perform treatments on the Lymphastim Machine after an Exilis Elite treatment.
How do I know if Exilis Elite is right for me?

How long does the result last?
Exilis cannot stop the ageing process however , on average , the tightening of the tissue and collagen production will last 8 to 12 months. Once you achieve the desired result you may need yearly maintenance as your skin will lose its collagen and elastin with age. To maintain your results, we recommend one treatment every 6-8 months after your initial treatment program. Many patients consider this as a tune up once a year.
How do I prepare for the treatment?
For the face or neck treatment : Please do not wear any make-up or jewellery, shave any hair in the intended treatment area 1 day before.
How many treatments are needed and how far apart do they need to be?
We recommend that (most) clients receive 4-6 treatments every 1-2 weeks to maximize their results. Results are often seen after the second treatment, improving with each treatment.
Who cannot have the Exilis Elite Treatment?
Pregnant or lactating women, patients who have a pacemaker, patients with cancer, patients suffering with epilepsy, patients with active skin disease at the intended treatment area, patients who have metal devices or metal in their body.
Can patients who have darker skin have this treatment?
Yes. Since the Exilis Elite system is not chromophore dependent (not targeting skin pigment) all skin types including patients with dark skin can have this treatment safely.
